Diferenta fata de modelul precedent consta in stratul de teflon ce acopera otelul carliguluiCarligele Mugga Longshank se bazeaza pe un principiu esential de mecanica a monturilor: tija lunga curbata face carligul sa se roteasca la contactul cu gura pestelui si sa se agate in buza de jos. Varful drept si ascutit cu precizie de bijutier inteapa si cand te uiti la el. Fabricat din otel-carbon de cea mai buna calitate, Mugga Longshank se potriveste perfect cu monturi anti-eject avansate.Teoretic, marimile mici sunt ideale pentru pop-up, in timp ce marimile mari sunt recomandate pentru momeli scufundatoare sau critic-echilibrate, dar in realitate carligul a dat rezultate excelente indiferent cum a fost folosit.Carligele Gardner sunt fabricate in Japonia si fiecare model este rezultatul a sute de ore de design si de teste. Toate elementele critice, cum ar fi diametrul tijei, unghiul de atac, conicitatea varfului, pozitia ochetului sau gradul de forjare, sunt studiate atent pentru o obtine un randament optim de intepare, durabilitate si rezistenta.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
