Briceagul Walther EDK2 se prezinta ca un instrument robust si versatil, perfect pentru utilizare zilnica, oferind o combinatie excelenta intre functionalitate si design. Acesta se remarca prin mecanismul slipjoint, care ii confera o deschidere rapida si sigura cu o singura mana, fiind astfel un accesoriu legal de purtat in majoritatea locurilor. Lama, realizata din otel 440C cu finisaj satin, garanteaza o rezistenta crescuta si o taiere precisa, iar deschiderea se face in cateva secunde, cu ajutorul unui buton pentru degetul mare, ce asigura un control eficient.
Manerul briceagului Walther EDK2 este proiectat pentru a oferi atat confort, cat si siguranta in utilizare, fiind o combinatie inteligenta intre un polimer antiderapant si un bolter metalic, robust, care adauga un plus de durabilitate. Dimensiunile manerului sunt perfect echilibrate, astfel incat sa ofere o prindere stabila, potrivita chiar si pentru utilizatorii cu maini mari, facilitand astfel o manevrare precisa si confortabila.
Pentru o purtare comoda si adaptabila, Walther EDK2 vine echipat cu un clip reversibil, care permite fixarea briceagului in functie de preferintele utilizatorului (tip-up sau l-r), sau cu un toc de nylon inclus, pentru a-l avea mereu la indemana. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
