Briceag Kershaw XCom, Lama 9.2cm
Modelul de briceag Xcom este dezvoltat de Kershaw impreuna cu celebrul designer si producator de cutite Les George si are ca inspiratie modelul clasic de cutit utilizat de trupele USA in al Doilea Razboi Mondial.
Similar cu forma cutitelor de lupta din trecut modelul Xcom are varf tip lance si fete simetrice ideale pentru impuns si taiat, lama este realizata din otel de calitate inalta 8Cr13MoV si este ascutita doar pe o parte. Lama se deschide manual utilizand discul pentru deget.
Manerul tactic realizat din combinatie de nylon si fibra de sticla este ergonomic si este prevazut cu protectii pentru a preveni alunecarea mainii pe lama in timpul utilizarii precum si cu sistem de blocare Liner Lock. Manerul este prevazut cu clips pentru buzunar precum si cu orificiu pentru snur.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
