Materialul foloseste un fir numit fir vortex realizat de o masina dedicata. Spre deosebire de alte metode de realizare, firul este strans printr-o metoda unica care utilizeaza un flux de aer, iar fibrele sunt tinute ferm in stratul interior al firului, ceea ce face dificila incurcarea acestora.
Prin urmare, are proprietati excelente anti-pilling si rezistenta buna la uzura.
In plus, se caracterizeaza prin faptul ca nu se desprinde usor de corp chiar daca are o silueta usor lejera datorita suprafetei cu finisaj mai tare.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
