Culoarea verde deschis a bellyboat-ului, culoare definitorie pentru Madcat, este propice pentru ca pescarul sa fie vizibil de la distanta pentru alti conducatori de barci cu motor. Pentru un maxim control al barcii si al pestelui, bellyboat Madcat este mai lunga ( 170 cm ) decat cele mai multe bellyboat-uri existente, ceea ce ii confera o stabilitate de exceptie si deasemeni are inclusa o carma, care se poate monta sa demonta cu usurinta pe fundul barcii pentru a elimina plutirea in zig-zag.
Ceea ce o face deosebit de confortabila si pretabila pentru pescuitul rapitorilor de talie mare este scaunul inalt, gonflabil, ceea ce permite pescarului sa atinga cu usurinta apa daca pescuieste la clonk sau sa ridice captura cu usurinta din apa. Este construit din patru straturi de PVC, conceput sa fie rezistent la abraziune, la conditii extreme, datorita tratamentului chimic la care a fost supus.
Madcat Bellyboat este model de ultima generatie. Barca are incluse un kit de reparatii, pompa manuala pentru umplere cu aer si geanta de transport. Permite montarea ( nu sunt incluse ) pe bara de plasa din fata - sonar, suport de lansete, care se pot comanda extra, optional.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
